Christmas Day!

Lyvi's first Christmas day started EARLY @ 7am. We tried to get her to go back to bed but she wouldn't have it. So we had breakfast and opened gifts bright and early. It was a lot of fun watching her open her gifts. We have been putting off buying toys for her until Christmas so she has been mostly playing with my measuring spoons (which she loves) and her old new-born toys. Now that she has some new toys she's been really busy. She loves them! Me on the other hand am undecided as the toys keep her entertained but they sure do make my house a MESS!

Christmas night we went to Justin's parents house to have dinner, and opened gifts from each other.
We had such a great Christmas. I got some money to go shopping and a mirror from ikea i've been wanting really bad and a....

KITCHEN AID!!!!I'm so nervous to use it. It looks so PRETTY! Justin got a new video game, some work pants, the new Guinness book of world record's, and a GPS. Here is my favorite present Lyvi got...

No more infant car seat! Now i don't have to break my back caring this 20 pounder plus a car seat around. We hope all our family and friends had a wonderful Christmas and have a happy new years!

Christmas eve

Every year on Christmas Eve we go bowling and out to lunch. I stink at bowling BIG TIME! but its always fun to watch the Danielson boy's. They are so competitive... okay mostly Justin.
Grandma and Lyvi.

Christmas Eve night my parents always do a dinner, play white elephant and watch the Grand kids open up there gifts from Granna and Papa. Here is my nephew Mason (he loves lyvi).

Of course Lyvi's cousin Brooke always needs a picture taken of her holding lyvi.

Here is my Sister Carley entertaining lyvi.

We had such a fun Christmas eve with our families.

Phoenix Road Runners?

I had no idea there was a hockey team called the Phoenix Road Runners. I found this out last Friday when Justins work party was at the game. I have never been to a hockey game so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. Well the first 2 minutes of the game (no joke) one of the players gets knocked in the mouth. There was so much blood gushing from his mouth. I was about to pass out. We were sitting right on the ice so we had a perfect view. Justin loved it kept screaming for another fight.

We ended up having lots of fun but I doubt I will go to another game:)

Justin's Birthday Dinner

Justin turned the big 26!!! We had a birthday dinner for him last night at Texas Road House. A few of Justin friends came. I'm pretty sure everyone sitting around us including the waitress hated us for being so loud. Oh well here are a few pictures of last night.

The Bakers made Justin this shirt. Its from Justin favorite movie "Hot Rod." He absolutely loves the shirt. Here is the back...

Up front or the Bakers and the Jensens.

Birthday Boy and Justin's brother Chase.

I'm pretty sure the waitress hated us because of this guy. I couldn't help but laugh at him and Justin all night. Here is Tadd and Amber.

Here is Jason. His wife Michelle couldn't make it. Looks like he was getting a little lonely without Michelle. Thanks so much Ellsworth for flying all the way from Hawaii just for Justin birthday dinner.

All night Justin kept telling me "DON'T TELL THEM ITS MY BIRTHDAY!" He didn't want to sit on the horse saddle and have everyone sing Happy Birthday. Well I kept my mouth shut but who ever told the waitress THANK YOU!

Happy Birthday Justin! Thanks for being a wonderful husband and dad.

APS Light Parade

Saturday Night Justin, Lyvi and I went to the light parade. We got there an hour before it started and it was already PACKED! I was so excited to find an empty spot. We had Lyvi all bundled up! She has been trying to get over this stinkin' cold. Which we thought was pretty much gone. We had layers of clothes on her and also her big jacket we put on later in the parade.

Justin was such a great sport he missed the ASU vs. UA football game. To bad ASU lost:(

Sorry this next picture is kind of hard to see.

We left early to beat the traffic. I like to leave early to any big event so I don't have to wait in traffic.(I get that from my dad:) It was such a fun night. So we thought... we put lyvi to bed at 10:00pm and she woke up at 7:30am like normal. Justin woke up with her. She was coughing SUPER bad. It sounded like for sure it was in her chest. So we went to Urgent Care. She had some fluid in her chest. They did a breathing treatment on her which she did not like. Well they sent us home with our own breathing machine thank you insurance:). I was not looking forward to give lyvi breathing treatments every 8 hours. I was surprised to find out that she didn't mind it. I guess all she needed was to be at home with her toys.

I can't believe how fast this medicine works. She is almost 100% better. Thank goodness!

Family Pictures

We had our family pictures taken last week. I thought for sure Lyvi would do great. She loves to have her picture taken in the studio. Well, I thought wrong she was so distracted being outside. We would sit her down and before Nikaela could take a picture she had a mouth full of pine needles, grass, etc.
I had some doubts these pictures weren' t going to turn out because we were trying our hardest to get lyvi to look at the camera. Well.... I was wrong again. Nikaela did such an AWESOME job! She was super patient with us. Here are just a few of them...

Christmas Lights

Friday night Justin's Aunt and Uncle came into town. We all got together and had dinner at Justin's parents house. I love going over to their house but especially during CHRISTMAS TIME. One of the streets in their neighborhood decorates the WHOLE street. I absolutely love it. I look forward every year to walking down and seeing all the lights. Here are the grand kids Lyvi, Jacob, and Luke.
Not the best picture of me. I have major sleepy eyes. Justin and I were up the night before shopping at Arizona Mills from 12-4 am. buts that a whole another story:)

Justin and Lyvi! She is just like me. Loves to go look at Christmas lights.

Lyvi and Jacob holding hands:)

Next stop Temple Light's! YAHOO!!!
My favorite!

Gilbert Day Parade!

Ever since I can remember my family and I every year go to the Gilbert Day Parade. It is pretty much my favorite day of the year. This was Justin and Lyvi 's first time going. They both LOVED IT mostly Lyvi.

Add ImageWe kind of have a big family couldn't really fit everyone in the picture sorry guys.

One of my favorite part's of the parade is when the High School Band's come by and the nieces and nephews start dancing in the street. GOSH! Where are there parents?

After the Parade we had lunch at my Parents house. Papa gave some pony rides.

Lyvi really enjoyed riding Snoopy. I didnt think she would. I'm convinced that she will do anything, as long as she is out side.

She then noticed Kenzie didn' t like it so she too started crying.

Blake too wasn t sure he wanted to ride Snoopy but soon as he got on he was riding like a PRO! I think he felt like he was in the parade.

Papa also let Justin go on a pony ride. Here he is riding Sugar.

I can't wait till the next Gilbert Day Parade!

Family Time

Last night we had Family Night at Justin's parents house. We had Thanksgiving dinner early because Justin's dad isn't going to be with us on Thanksgiving. It was really yummy! After our family home evening lesson the Grandparents read some books to the grandkids including Lyvi's favorite book Fancy Nancy (okay so its my favorite book). I felt bad for the nephews who had to listen to such a girly girl book.

Please excuse Lyvi she doesn't have her bow on. She was all ready for bed:). Today there was no school so my sisters and I took all the kids to the park. We had lunch and did some girl talk. I can't wait till Lyvi is old enough to keep up with the cousin but for now she loves just being in the swing.
When my nephew Mason goes to the park he always brings his skateboard. He loves to try and sit on the skateboard and go down the slide. It was so fun to watch him and his Brother Riley try and stay on the board.

One of the cousins had an idea to make a train and go down the slide on the skateboard. They kept trying over and over. It was so FUNNY! All I have to say is thank goodness for no school days!
