18mo. update & Zoo trip

My little cougarette just turned 18 months. Some facts about 18 month old Lyvi are: She weighs 21.4 Lbs, is 31 inches tall, loves to say "No!" especially when she means yes, will carry on conversations (with herself in her own language), likes to dance to Yo Gabba Gabba (me too), loves eating fries and ketchup minus the fries, loves to give hugs and kisses to anyone who is sad, gets excited when we are driving close to either of her grandparents house, still attached to her blanket, and is my good luck charm to watch football with....just ask Oklahoma. I Love You Lyv! Heart Dad
Lyvi and I met my sister, her kids and my mom at the zoo today. Here are some of the animals we saw...
GiraffesFlamingos

Monkeys

Orangutangs

Lyvi's favorite was the petting zoo. Too bad there were only goats.

Trying to give the goat a kiss. Eww.

We finally decide it was time to go to cool down and head to the splash pad. Well, for some odd reason it wasn't working so we decided to go "white trash" and played in a nearby creek... gross I know... but it was HOT!

We will definitely be back... when its not blazing hot outside.

Sleepover with her besty

Lyvi and I picked up Kenzie yesterday for their first sleepover. They were both so excited. They giggled the whole ride home. The girls enjoyed playing with there babies. I was so surprised how well they played together. I didn't even have to break up any fights. They had so much fun pushing each other in the car. (I thought it was funny that neither one of them liked the "walker" when learning to walk.)Lyvi and her Idol. Hence the picture...
Until next sleepover.

Train Ride

Today we went to Freestone Park to ride the train. We pulled in the parking lot and noticed people were already loading on the train. So Justin ran to go buy the tickets. We jumped on the train it went around the park and 10 minutes later we on our way out of there. As you can tell we really don't like waiting in lines or the HEAT.

Childrens Museum...take two

Today Lyv and I went to the Children's Museum. Lyvi was able to enjoy it a lot more this time now that she is able to run around. She loved the "Grocery Store"She sat there and made sure nobody moved her baby from its seat

Surprisingly she let me take a quick picture with her but after that she was off

Last museum trip lyv did not like the hanging noodles... not anymore.

Lyvi's favorite part was definitely painting the rocks with a brush and water

She would have sat there all day. The simple pleasures in life.

*thanks sister for letting us sneak in with your passes
