Christmas eve & Christmas day

Christmas eve started at the Danielson's. We ate lunch and played an intense game of bingo. I brought my camera but of course forgot to use it. Christmas eve night was at my sisters house. Which included dinner, singing happy birthday to my Mom, hayride with caroling, cousins gift exchange, and white elephant. My cousin Tracy's girls fell in love with Lyvi. I didn't see her the entire night. I'm sure she loved all the attention. What I would give for them to live near us, they would be perfect babysitters. Here is Nana and some of her great grand kidsBrooke and LyviFunniest white elephant gift I've seen. My cousin Charley sporting his new "briefcase"...He's a police officer and promised he would carry his gun in his "briefcase."
Christmas morning started a 7am.
Lyvi was so excited to finally get the princess cash register that her cousin Kenzie has.June would rather be in bed. We call her our teenager because she loves to sleep in.
Justin got some tools and a sweaterJustin surprised me with a "shark" he knows I've been dying for one.
The gals in their Christmas pajamasWe headed to my Parents house to talk to Jacob who's on his mission. It was so great to hear from him. I can't wait for him to get home in April!
Lyvi waiting out front for her cousinsShe got bored of waiting and went to the neighbors house to visit the dogsChristmas night we had dinner at the Danielson's and then opened presents.
Here's Grandpa and Lyvi in her new princess tent.

It was a wonderful Christmas!

Goodbye cast

We said our goodbyes yesterday to Lyvi's cast. It was a long 3 weeks. She never once complained about it (me on the other hand...) She loved showing it off, pointing out other people with casts, and having people write on it.
Here she is before... It was so clean. It didn't look any thing like this when she had it removed.
Right after it was removed. Still a bit shakin up after the loud saw.
Her reward was chickfila. She loves their chicken nuggets and turning in her kids meal toy for ice cream.
PLEASE, no more broken bones.

28

Justin turned 28 on Saturday. His birthday wish was to watch the BYU game in his new BYU shirt with no interruptions. So while the girls napped and I did some Christmas shopping, Justin watched his game in peace. That night our good friends the Bakers invited us over for dinner. I made his favorite Oreo cake. Lyvi picked out his shirt and kept it a secret (kind of).
We then walked "natal street" to admire the Christmas lights. I'm sure that was the last thing Justin wanted to do but he's a good sport and goes, with out complaining.
Preston, Lyvi and Hudson Lyvi & Deacon. Lyvi loves this boy. Lately every boy or girl who is younger then her she calls Deacon. She might have a small crush.

I hope Justin had a fabulous birthday because let me tell ya... He deserves it!!

First things, first. June turned 3 monthsShe is still a perfect baby. Loves to eat and Sleep!

Saturday Justin's work had their Christmas party. This year it was held at a park where they had food, games, bounce houses, cotton candy, snow cones and more. Lyvi loved every minute of it.Its hard eating with your left hand when you are a "righty"Some of us had more fun... then others. Lyvi and her ballon animal. Too bad we waited longer in line then it lastedSaturday night we enjoyed the temple lights.

Lyvi's favorite part was baby Jesus.

I must include this last picture. I'm sad to see the day she grows out of this dress and shoes...

Broken arm

Two weeks ago my sister Jenny invited my sisters and I over to let the cousins play. The kids were outside playing while the adults were inside finishing eating lunch. Next thing we know Lyvi comes into the house crying saying her right arm hurts. None of the kids saw what happened, we think she was trying to climb on the playground and slipped. We didn't think her arm was broke because she could still use it but favored her left arm more. It then bruised up pretty good and the only time it hurt was when someone touched it. Well we (meaning Justin) finally decided to take her in to see a doctor, sure enough she fractured both bones. I could NOT believe it. I've seen her support her body weight on it, color, play etc. She was so excited to get home and show me her sling which she loves, she calls it her purse and her stickers. The doctor told us to make sure to get her in the next day to get her hard cast. So Bonnie (J.'s Mom) Lyvi, June and I went to the doctor today. She was super nervous. Until the nurse gave Lyvi's doll a cast too. After she saw the doll's cast she was excited to pick the color of her cast.

She picked pink... of course. The nurse let her take home some extra bandages. She has already rapped up her babies and Justin's arm.

I know, I know "Mother of the year" right?
