Staycation

While Justin was gone on a business trip Lyvi and I stayed at my parents house. Sunday night we celebrated my dads birthday. We always have so much fun together. My mom loves playing games with all the Grand kids. One of their favorites and mine is "musical chairs." Here is Papa and Granna with all 13 grand kids.

Last night Justin finally came home at 10:30pm. Lyv and I stayed up and waited for him. She was so excited to see him.

Utah trip

This last week we made the long 12 hour drive to Utah, for Justin's Grandparents 80th birthday party. We were able to do so much while we were there. We got to walk through the new
Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple.
It was BEAUTIFUL!
Uncle Chase and LyviJustin, Chase, and I spent a day at Lagoon. Justin's mom was kind enough to spend the day tending Lyvi. We had lots of fun. As soon as the park opened we made sure to go on all the big rides first before the crowd got bigger. Then we made our way to the swings that put you up in the air and go in a circle(my favorite). Poor Justin got sick. But after awhile he sucked it up and was ready for more rides. We would have stayed longer but it started to rain. We still had fun though. Later that night Justin's moms side of the family had a family Reunion. We ate dinner, played at the park, played some baseball and just enjoyed the perfect weather.
Lyvi's two cousins Luke and Jacob. For the 4th of July we started the day off with a huge breakfast with all the Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. We then made our way to the parade. We enjoyed it until 4 full trucks of little league baseball players soaked the crowd with water guns and super soakers. Justin was not happy. If you know Justin you know that he is very protective over his family members and gets irritated quickly. He was so upset with these boys that he threw 2 half empty water bottles at them. Thankfully, he didn't hit anyone or he might still be in Utah.......in jail. After the parade Justin, Lyvi and I drove to Salt Lake City. We did some shopping and walked around the Salt Lake Temple grounds. Later that night the Danielson Boys put on a firework show and I must say it was one entretaining show. They started by having a war with the "snaps," throwing them at each other's legs. Then they set off the other fireworks. Of course this wasn't entertaining enough for them, so they would see who could jumped over the ones with higher flames. Justin, of course willingly jumped at the offer. Here is Justin, Tyler and Trevor Here is Justin with glow sticks on his ankles, wrist and neck "rave dancing" You gotta LOVE this guy!!!

Special thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for letting us stay with them and letting lyvi go through there cupboards. And of course for the YUMMY breakfasts. Happy 80th!

It was hard to come home but we hope to be back next 4th of July!!!
