Funny picture

While Karen (sis-in-law) was coloring my hair last week at her house this picture of Lyvi popped up on her computer. I had forgotten about this picture until last week. It is definitely a picture to have in the blog book...(Lyvi 7mo. old)
The best part about this picture is Karen took it during sacrament meeting and I am so happy she did.

Natal Street

This was the expression on her face for the first 20min. She wanted to be held or in her stroller which is not normal for Lyvi. We happened to run into my sister's family while looking at Christmas lights . Lyvi was so excited to see Tate. I am sure will be back next time we are at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Thanksgiving Day

Justin has been asking me lately, "how much longer does Lyvi's hair have to be for her to wear pigtails?" So Yesterday while Justin was playing football I decided to try pigtails on lyvi. She sat watching the "Macy's Parade" while I did her hair. When Justin got home he was so happy! She kept them in until I tried to fix one of her pony tails at my mom and the rubber band broke.
We had thanksgiving dinner at my parents. It was delish! Afterwards we had a badminton tournament. My dad had us draw names out of a hat to find out who our partners were going to be. For the second year in a row Neil and I were on a team. Justin's partner was Carley. Ryan and Jenny took first place (who would of thought). Neil and I came in at second place. Justin and Carley third place. Courtney and Rush last place. Honestly all I cared about was beating Justin:) We are both EVERY competitive while playing against each other.
Neil & I Justin & Carley (sunny side)
Rush & Courtney (shady side)Lyvi and Paisley
We had a fun and filling thanksgiving and we hope our friends and family did too.

Carnival Cruise

Monday morning Justin and I drove to San Diego to start our 4 day cruise together. The first stop was at Catalina Island. It was beautiful. Both Justin and I aren't into taking tours so, we decided to rent our own golf cart and tour the island on our own. We had so much fun. Here are some pictures of us on Catalina island. Crazy driver
It was so COLD! The next stop was Ensenada Mexico.
We rented a golf cart again because we had so much fun the last time. This was a bad idea. It was super scary because people their don't obey traffic laws. I thought for sure we were going to get in a car (cart?) accident. We drove around and couldn't find anything to do so we found a Walmart, walked around a bit and then drove back. There were so many people it was hard to get around. We decieded to go back to the boat and do what we like to do most... EAT! They had the best food on the boat. I have never ate so much. Justin and I tried Sushi for the first time. I thought it was gross and Justin really liked it. Here he is trying Sushi for the first time. Here is the main pool the day we left, too bad I was freezing the whole time. I didn't dare put a swimsuit on, but it sure was fun to people watch.

We had so much fun spending time together but we were so excited to see Lyvi. Thank you, Thank you, Bonnie, Dennis, and Chase for watching Lyvi!

Gilbert Days!

The day started bright and early at 7am. We got ready and headed to good old down town Gilbert for the Gilbert Day parade. We met my parents and a couple of my sisters and there kids. Every year my Mom wears her wranglers and red boots. I figured Lyvi and I would join her. (honestly, why can't I take a normal picture?)Justin got two free shirts and a towel DancingAfter the parade we went over to my parents house. My dad saddled up Snoopy for the grand kids. Here is Blake, Me and Lyvi...Thanks Papa for giving pony rides! We sure had a fun day. Can't wait till next year!

Trick or Treat

Justin and I took Lyvi trick or treating around Justin's parents neighborhood. The first house we took her to, we had to force Lyvi to go up to the door. After she realized people are giving her candy, she would walk up by herself while Justin and I waited.
She wouldn't let ANYONE hold her "candy bag." After Trick or Treating we helped pass out candy. Justin's parents neighborhood always has TONS of trick or treaters. Here is grandpa, Lyvi (enjoying her sucker), Lauren, and Chase.
Justin's brother Todd and "humpty dumty" aka Nathan. Definitely my favorite costume of the night. He is adorable! Why was I not suprised Justin would hand out candy looking like this... Never a dull moment when he's around. She loves to say "cheese" when there is a camera in sight. Happy Halloween to all and to all a Goodnight:)
