Lyvi and Penny

Lyvi often (everyday) asks to go to Granna and Papa's house. She loves to play in the backyard with Penny and the chickens. My parents tell me that Lyvi is one of the only Grand kids that Penny will walk up to and let Lyvi pet her. I'm convinced its because Penny knows Lyvi will always feed her. Lyvi feeding Penny carrots
This girl really needs a pet.

Cabin trip 2010

Last weekend we headed to Heber for our annual Burr Family Reunion! When we first got there we took turns on tree swing. (my mom on the swing)Lyvi wanted nothing to do with the tree swing. She enjoyed picking flowers.
Brooke, Mckenzie, and Lyvi took turns giving make oversCamille was always content sitting in the swing. I would forget she was even there. It was then time for dinner, bath and bed time. After all the kids were in bed the adults played LCR, Mafia, and of course sat around and ate junk food. Saturday morning after breakfast we had our annual 5k run. Here is everyone who ran/walked in the race. Here is Justin warming up for the race.
Warning!!! The next few pictures are graphic. You just might want to look away...Before the race
Finish line I'm not sure why he even wore shorts.
Lyvi loves bike rides. She felt like she needed to be on every bike ride. We packed Kenzie, Gwen and Lyvi in the trailer. They came back looking like this. My brother said not one of them made a peep.
Karen, Lyvi and Gwen. We all call Gwen "Sweet Baby" my brother gave her the nick name the day she was born. Lyvi can't say Gwen so Lyvi calls her Sweet baby. She recently has been calling Karen (Gwen's Mom) "Sweet mommy". She often asks me " Where's Sweet mommy?" Here are the three of them working on the craft Karen brought for the girls.

Lyvi taking care of Gwen's baby while she was away.Saturday night we played night games after the kids went to bed. Sunday Karen french braided Brooke, Kenzie and Lyvi's hair.

We all had so much fun and look forward to next year!
