The Dance Floor

Jacob and Lexi's reception was a blast! Beautifully decorated, delicious food, and an entertaining dance floor/DJ. The little girls have been counting down the weeks to be able to dance to some "Justin Bieber" on the dance floor. So we weren't surprise to see that they were the first ones on the floor.

 It was getting late for Lyvi so she relaxed with Papa until her favorite song "Love you like a love song baby"  and then she was back on the dance floor.

Burr Wedding Part 1

On Friday Jacob and Lexi "tied the knot!" We are so happy for them.

Highlights:

*Justin whispering "happy birthday"  in Jacobs ear (it wasn't Jacob's birthday, it was Justin's moms and I guess she was on his mind) after being sealed and then accidentally rubbing his beard on Jacobs cheek while still hugging him. It was a had-to-be there kind of thing. It made me laugh till my head hurt.

* and of course gaining another sister!

New Do

Lyvi's been growing her hair out like "Rapunzel" for a while but changed her mind yesterday that she wanted short hair. She is thrilled because now her and Kenzie are "twins."

"Big School"

Lyvi's been counting down the Sundays for weeks now. She is finally in (the words of Lyvi) " the Big School" at church, Primary that is. She's is thrilled! She was a tad bit sad that they didn't draw her name out of the "helping can" but there is always next week.

Christmas 2011

We started our Christmas Eve with the Danielson's. Our Tradition is to eat lunch and then play Bingo. We look forward to it every year. Even the kids get to play and win prizes.

Bonnie made these adorable scarfs. I'm in love with them.

Christmas eve night we get together with my family. We have dinner, the nativity, hay ride/caroling, cousin gift exchange, and white elephant. Every year it gets better and better. *fun fact: anytime June hears music she'll start waving her hands like she is leading the music. She learned it from primary.

Christmas morning Justin and I woke up at 7am. We were too excited to keep waiting so we woke up the girls at 7:30. Seriously, who sleeps in Christmas morning? Lyvi had forgotten that it was christmas until we told her Santa came. She leaped out of bed and dug right in to the gifts.

Christmas dresses. I loved having Christmas fall on a Sunday.

We had a wonderful Christmas! We hope our Family and Friends did too.

Zoo lights

Monday night after searching for 15 minutes for a parking spot and then walking 1/2 mile to get in, we were finally able to enjoy the zoo lights with some of Justin's brothers and there families.

June was content with the view of the lights from her stroller.

Of course Lyvi wouldn't smile for me but for Bekah and Tyler she will.

After some convincing and paying 3 dollars each Justin and Bekah tried out the "Polar slide."

Definitely the highlight of my night.
