The Mustache/Unibrow

Justin ate lunch at "Filiberto's" today. He made sure to bring home a mustache from the 25cent machine. After convincing Lyvi it was fun to wear, we finally got a picture without her screaming. It also can be worn as a unibrow The best 25 cent he's spent.

July 4th

We showed up at my parents 4th of July bbq not knowing Lyvi's BFF cousin Kenzie would be matching. We had lots of fun eating, swinging, chasing penny (Papa's pig), looking for Granna's chickens eggs, and my personal favorite eating my Dad's homemade strawberry ice cream. yum.
I'm not the only one who enjoyed the food and ice cream ...
We then drove to watch fireworks.
Here is Lyvi and Blake watching fireworks. Happy 4th.

Baseball Game

Justin was given tickets to last nights Diamondback's game. They played the New York Yankee's. We found out last night during the game that Lyvi is a Yankee's Fan. Justin asked her over and over who she wanted to win, she kept cheering "Yankee... Yankee...Yankee!'' Wasn't one of Justin's proudest moment. We had fun chowing down on peanuts and other treats but left early. Maybe next game they'll turn on the A/C and not the heater.

San Diego

Wednesday night Justin, Lyvi, and I drove to San Diego, Ca. for an early summer vacation. I am so happy we went when we did. The weather was perfect, not too many people, and I'm not yet in that miserable stage of being prego. We started our vacation Thursday at Sea World. Lyvi loved every minute of it.
Lyvi giving shamu a high 5Petting the sting raysFeeding the Sea LionsPetting the Star FishWaiting for the shamu show to start
(Lyvi's hair and the humity didn't get along)Sea World has a huge "Elmo's world". It has a huge jungle gym, a couple of rides, a splash pad, baby and toddler area, and much more.
Justin looking a little sick (he doesn't do good with rides that go in circles) Lyvi on the other hand loving it.Waiting for the 4-D Elmo movie to startLyvi's highlights at Sea world: Petting the sting rays, Elmo's world, Shamu Splashing people during the Shamu show, and the "Pets Rule show"
Justin's highlights: feeding the Sea Lions, Shamu show, and watching people pay to spray people on the "raft water ride"
Sarah's Highlights: also watching people get sprayed, petting the sting rays, watching the"Pets Rule" and Sea Lion show.
Saturday we went to the Wild Life Zoo. It was fun but alot of walking so thank goodness they had a safari tour ride that showed you some of the different animals.
Thursday evening before eating dinner we played and walked on the beach.

We ate at Joe's Crab Shack, Justin ordered lobster so the wastress put this bib on him.

Saturday we went to the San Diego Swap meet, played at the beach and, did some more shopping. Lyvi picked out these sunglasses at the swap meet.

Justin made fun of me, calling me "Dennis Danielson" (which is a complement) for making a list to make sure I didn't forget anything while packing. Well... well... well... Guess who forgot swim shorts and a hat... Justin! We had to stop and buy him a hat so his head wouldn't get anymore sun burned. I'm sure next trip he'll make a list.

It was hard to leave but we're happy to be home.

Lyvi & Gwen

One minute these two gals can be the best of friends, and then next minute they are yelling at eachother.Lyvi & Gwen both wanted in the pool today. Nether Karen or I wanted to get in so Karen blew up some baby swim toys. Thank goodness because they both weren't going to stay on the step much longer.

Swim season has begun

Saturday Justin and Lyvi went swimming, I sat on the deck and watched. It's still way too cold for me. At first Lyvi was a little nervous to leave the first step but she soon warmed up and was jumping off the deck to Justin, going down the kiddie slide, and practicing her big arms and kicks. I have a feeling being prego and always being hot there will be many more swim days. (side note: Bonnie has a funny video of Justin being over protective:) check it out if you would like (click on Bonnie and Dennis) . It makes me laugh.
