Yard Work

Yesterday while Justin and I were pulling weeds, Lyvi was entertained with the hose and watering the plants.

I wish her swim suit came in my size but lets be honest no swim suit is going to look good on me this summer thanks to my baby belly.

check-up

Lyvi had her 2 year check-up. She still "hates" (understatement) the doctors office. She is still a healthy girl. Here are some fun facts we want to remember about Lyvi:
Height: 34 inch
Weight: 25 LBS 10 OZ

(still learning how to show with her fingers that she is two, if you ask her how old she'll show and tell you FIVE)

Dad's Fave Five about 2 yr old Lyvi:

  1. She tells Dad to "Shoo!".... not like what you wear on your feet but what you tell a pigeon that is about to poo on your porch.
  2. She is always up for some dancing.... and usually a little singing (We all know where she gets that from.)
  3. Loves scaring people.... especially when someone is not expecting it. (She also gets this from me, ask Chase's pants)
  4. She loves to eat.... it does not matter who or what, if someone is eating Lyvi wants in
  5. She loves to pray.... whether we are at home or out to eat she is the first one to fold her arms and remind us to pray.

I love Lyvi so much, it is amazing to have such a perfect little girl as my daughter.

Easter weekend

Thursday night we went to the Easter Pageant. It was Lyvi's first time, she really enjoyed it. She kept pointing and saying "SEE... SEE!" Friday Justin had work off. We went out to breakfast at our favorite breakfast place "TC Eggington" yum! Afterwards, we went to my ultra sound appointment to find out we are having our 2nd GIRL. (if you didn't know already I am prego) We are so excited! We really wanted a another girl. We took Lyvi with us to my ultra sound. She kept lifting up her shirt and pointing to her stomach and saying baby. She is still a bit confused. She pretty much thinks Justin, her, and I are pregnant. Early Sunday morning we hid a few Easter eggs for Lyvi to find.
We watched the second session of conference at my parents house, and then had Easter dinner. After dinner my parents did an Easter egg hunt for the grandkids.
I love this picture I just had to post this picture of my dad and Penny. Penny loves to cuddle up to my dad. I think it's precious:) Lyvi is getting more comfortable around Penny. She now will go in the cage and chase Penny around.
Happy Easter to all our Family and Friends!

Two

The day Lyvi was born1st birthday 2nd Birthday
Lyvi turned 2 years old today! We headed to Wal-mart this morning to pick out a gift (thanks Great Grandma Jerry for her birthday money.) For lunch we had sliced hot dogs and ketchup. I stacked the slice hot dogs up like a cake and put a candle on top. Lyvi's reaction... "WOW! thanks mom". We then took her to Peter Piper Pizza and let her run wild. Her favorite game was "Dance Dance Revolution."
Todd, Justin, Bekah, Tyler, & my Dad getting ready for the "Horse Race"
300 tickets later... 60 of them Lyvi found, not sure where they came from.
5 minutes later Lyvi tripped and broke the piggy bank in pieces. Thanks to the 16 year old working behind the counter she got a brand new replacement. Thanks to those who came and helped us celebrate Lyvi's birthday. We sure had fun!
Happy Birthday Lyv! We love ya.

Birthday weekend

Yesterday we celebrated Lyvi's birthday (can't believe she'll be two tomorrow). Justin made her birthday breakfast. I always leave breakfast up to him. Lyvi LOVES his scrambled eggs. He also ran to the store to pick up some balloons. She wanted two different things for her birthday... Cup cakes & Balloons. She was pretty excited to see him walk through the door with balloons in hand.

Since Lyvi is obsessed with animals we took her to the Zoo after breakfast. It was a bit crowded but the weather was perfect.

We then went home for a long afternoon nap.

Baseball Game

My nephew Briant's baseball game was last night. So we layered on our warm clothes and headed to the game.Kendal (sis-in-laws good friend who is my friend too) was at the game. Kendal used to be in our ward but her and Martin moved away around the same time my brother and sis-in-law did and left Justin, Lvyi and I. (boooo. you guys suck.) Every Sunday Kendal would take Lyvi during sacrament meeting and some how rock her to sleep. No one else could get her to sleep but Kendal. Anyway, it was fun to see Kendal again and I think Lyvi enjoyed it too.
By the way I like how Gwen and Lyvi can't say each others names so they call each other "baby." You can already tell they're going to be best friends.
Pictures taken with kendals phone thankgoodness because there was no way I was going to take pictures with my camera I was to cold to get out from under neath my blanket.
