Anniversary

Saturday night Justin and I went to the Suns game for our anniversary. We figured we would save some money on parking so we took the light rail.(first time light rail riders)

As you can tell from the picture below we were early to game. Justin hates to be late to any kind of game. We had so much fun. It was the most entertaining game I've ever been to.

I'm looking forward to the years to come.

Lately Lyvi has been into dancing. She is always asking me to dance. Her favorite song to dance to is "You Belong With Me" by: Taylor Swift. She usaully sings along to a couple of parts to the song but wouldn't sing when I tried to record it so here is a video of her dancing instead.

Big girl bed

Next month Lyvi will be turning two! We decided we have enough toys, and that we would get her a big girl bed for her birthday this year (thank you tax return!). Last night was Lyvi's first night sleeping in her big girl bed. She usually is good about falling asleep on her own but last night she wanted someone to lay next to her. So I laid there while she scratched my back for about 5 minutes ( I think she knew I would stay there with her, if she scratched my back & she was right :)) She finally fell asleep 20 minutes later. Today nap time went great. She walked herself to her room climbed up in her bed and fell asleep on her own. Lets just hope she continues to like her new bed.

Apron

Can you believe it?!?... I made an apron for Lyvi. I'm still in shock.Bonnie (mother-in-law) invited Lyvi and I over to teach me how to make an apron. Bonnie is the best teacher! Usually she would do it all and I watch... my kind of teacher. Today was different she made ME do everything. I tried to get her back to her old ways but she just would not budge. I'm happy she didn't because I am every proud of my work.

Welcome to the family

My Dad loves Craigslist... I take that back my Dad loves the FREE section on Craiglist. A couple of weeks ago he saw that someone was giving away a free Pig. He jumped on the offer! I guess he has always wanted a Pig growing up, so he just couldn't pass this offer up and we are glad he didn't:) He still hasn't named her. So for now I call her "Charlotte."

The Grandkids love feeding the horses oranges. Lyvi on the other hand will NOT give up a slice for anyone.

New Years Day

We celebrated New years day at my parents house. We had lunch and my dad saddled up the horses. We all took turns riding. I thought it would be funny for Justin and I to double up and ride Jackson. I had trouble getting up so Jenny helped me but no luck.We finally did it.
