Love / Hate Relationship

She loves this toy...it takes her awhile to catch one of the balls... But when she does she gets so excited.... and then she drops it....

and it starts all over again.

Lyvi turned 10 months a couple of days ago. I am absolutely loving this age! She loves to army crawl but gets closer everyday to crawling. Her favorite thing to eat is bananas and rice cereal. She likes to munch on Gerber carrot wheels, Ritz crackers, and In n Out fries (just like her momma.) Lyvi is definitely a people person. She gets SO excited if anyone talks to her or even smiles at her. Lyvi is liking books more and more everyday. Which makes me happy! Her favorite book is "Peek-a-Boo Baby."

My Baby Brother

Last night my brother opened up his mission papers. He was called to serve in Paraguay Asuncion North Mission Spanish speaking! WOW! This boy is the youngest, very picky eater, has never lived away from home. Paraguay is going to be a big change for him but I know for a fact that he is going to do a Marvelous job serving.

We didn't even know Jacob had this many friends. ha My Dad and Jacob with Lyvi.

I had to post this picture. My brothers girlfriend has a class in high school where she has to raise a chicken. (FFA forever Tracy!!!:) Anyways she keeps it at my parents house. My mom spoils this chicken. The grand kids love when she brings him out.
We are so excited and proud of you! You are such a AWESOME uncle. I know all the nieces and nephews will miss you playing with them. What a great example you'll be to them. Oh yes and I believe Justin is going to miss playing xbox with you. Lyvi's happy you'll be here for her 1st birthday though.

FHE

Every monday night we try and go somewhere fun or do something fun for family home evening. If you know Justin you already know that he loves to play and watch basketball. So we went to watch Highland high vs. North high at the Wells Fargo arena (asu's stadium).. You might think it's weird that we went to a High School game but it was actually fun. I would have to say my favorite part was when the suns gorilla came out and was playing tricks on random people. I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

On another note: Lyvi and I raked some leafs on Saturday. She really enjoyed just hanging out playing with leafs.

Last night I gave her a bath right before she went to bed. She woke up looking like this. I could not for the life of me get her hair to lay down.

After reading Karen's blog the other day I have been really wanting to go on a bike ride. Justin got home from work today and mentioned a bike ride. I jumped up so fast wanting to go. We pumped up our tires and hooked up Lyvi's trailer (to Justin's bike of course) and off we went.

We had a blast bringing in the new year. We had a few of our close friends over. It was so fun to just sit around and eat, chat, and laugh with each other. Here are the boys...( Jason holding lyvi, Justin, Jacob, and Kevin)

We played around the world Ping Pong... my favorite. We were hoping lauren (she's in the black jacket) would go in to labor after running around the table:) She is due any day now.

It came down to just the boys. Lyvi was fast asleep in her bed right next door to the ping pong room. Let me tell ya... WE WERE LOUD! She has always been a deep sleeper just like her dad.

Thanks you guys for driving all the way out to celebrate with us. We had such a FUN night. Can't wait till next year, with all the new babies:) We are going to miss the Ellsworth's and Hillary. Hope to see you guys again real soon.

Christmas Day!

Lyvi's first Christmas day started EARLY @ 7am. We tried to get her to go back to bed but she wouldn't have it. So we had breakfast and opened gifts bright and early. It was a lot of fun watching her open her gifts. We have been putting off buying toys for her until Christmas so she has been mostly playing with my measuring spoons (which she loves) and her old new-born toys. Now that she has some new toys she's been really busy. She loves them! Me on the other hand am undecided as the toys keep her entertained but they sure do make my house a MESS!

Christmas night we went to Justin's parents house to have dinner, and opened gifts from each other.

We had such a great Christmas. I got some money to go shopping and a mirror from ikea i've been wanting really bad and a....

KITCHEN AID!!!!I'm so nervous to use it. It looks so PRETTY! Justin got a new video game, some work pants, the new Guinness book of world record's, and a GPS. Here is my favorite present Lyvi got...

No more infant car seat! Now i don't have to break my back caring this 20 pounder plus a car seat around. We hope all our family and friends had a wonderful Christmas and have a happy new years!

Christmas eve

Every year on Christmas Eve we go bowling and out to lunch. I stink at bowling BIG TIME! but its always fun to watch the Danielson boy's. They are so competitive... okay mostly Justin.

Christmas Eve night my parents always do a dinner, play white elephant and watch the Grand kids open up there gifts from Granna and Papa. Here is my nephew Mason (he loves lyvi).
